Sandra Stotsky, Professor Education Reform, University of Arkansas, is author of The Death and Resurrection of a Coherent Literature Curriculum: What Secondary English Teachers Can Do and has taught at the elementary, secondary, undergraduate, and graduate level

Mark Bauerlein, Professor of English at Emory University, author of numerous publications on the Common Core, and former director of research and analysis at the National Endowment for the Arts.  Professor Bauerlein will also be our luncheon speaker  

John Burt, Professor of English, Brandeis University, author of Lincoln’s Tragic Pragmatism and former president of the ALSCW

David Rothman, Director of the Poetry Concentration at Western State Colorado University, participated in the drafting of Colorado’s new language and literature standards.
