Governor Pence signs anti-Common Core bill into law

May 11, 2013 3 Comments

On May 11, 2013 Governor Mike Pence signed HB1427 into law. This law stops further implementation of the Common Core Standards until there is a full vetting of the standards, cost analysis and public meetings held. Hoosiers Against Common Core applauds Governor Pence’s support of this legislation and look forward to a transparent, accurate and honest evaluation of the standards and testing upon which the future of Indiana students rests!IMG_6401

    Dear Mr Pence

Hi there I want to say thank you for signing this bill! But we don’t need to find out what it costs or anything else to do with it or any iteration of it!
We need to get back to common sense education! I.E Reading writing and arithmetic!!! My son is in his twentys and he is unable to read or write over probably the fourth grade! And we sure as hell don’t need the freaking government data mining and scanning our children!

    Thank you for your time!

    God Bless You

    Gov Pence

    Sincerely

    Terry L Carter
